Getting started

Install JP Plugins on your Paper server, check that they work, and change their settings.

What you need

  • A Paper server, version 26.1 or newer
  • Java 25

Other server software isn't tested. Spigot isn't supported.

Install

  1. Download the plugins you want. You don't need all of them, and no JP plugin requires another one.
  2. Put the jars in your server's plugins folder.
  3. Restart the server. Each plugin creates its own folder, like plugins/JPEconomy/, with its config and messages.

Check that it worked

Type /jp as an operator. It lists every JP plugin you have, its version and how many of its optional plugins it found. Click a plugin in the list to see which ones it found, and its commands.

Change the settings

Each plugin keeps its settings in config.yml, and most of what players read in messages.yml. The files have notes that explain the options. After a change, restart the server or use the plugin's reload command:

PluginReload command
JPAuction/ah reload
JPAuth/auth reload
JPBackup/backup reload
JPChat/jpchat reload
JPCosmetics/cosmetics reload
JPCrates/crate reload
JPEconomy/eco reload
JPEssentials/jpess reload
JPEvents/event reload
JPHolograms/holo reload
JPJobs/jobs reload
JPKits/kit reload
JPLeaderboard/lb reload
JPMenus/jpmenus reload
JPNpcs/npc reload
JPQuests/quests admin reload
JPShop/shop reload
JPSit/jpsit reload
JPStaff/jpstaff reload
JPTab/jptab reload
JPTeleport/jptp reload

Change the language

Set language in the plugin's config.yml to en, es, pt, fr or de, then reload.

To use another language, copy a file from the plugin's lang folder to lang/<code>.yml, translate it, and use that code. For example, lang/it.yml with language: it.

Update a plugin

  1. Delete the old jar and add the new one.
  2. Restart the server.

New options are added to your config.yml by themselves, and your settings stay as they are.
