FAQ
Answers to the questions server owners ask most about JP Plugins.
Which servers do the plugins run on?
Paper 26.1 or newer, with Java 25. Spigot isn't supported. Forks of Paper may work, but the plugins are only tested on Paper.
Are they really free?
Yes, including on servers that make money. They aren't open source, so please don't reupload, sell or share modified copies. See the license.
Do I need to install all of them?
No. Install only the ones you want. No JP plugin requires another one, and they connect by themselves when installed together.
Do I need any other plugins?
None are required. Some are optional and add features, like Vault, PlaceholderAPI and LuckPerms. Each plugin's page lists its optional plugins.
How do I see what's installed?
Type /jp as an operator. It shows every JP plugin you have, its version and which optional plugins it found.
How do I change the language?
Set language in the plugin's config.yml to en, es, pt, fr or de. For another language, copy a file in the plugin's lang folder to lang/<code>.yml, translate it and use that code.
How do I apply config changes?
Restart, or use the plugin's reload command, such as /eco reload or /auth reload. The getting started guide lists them all.
How do I update a plugin?
Delete the old jar, add the new one and restart. New options are added to your config.yml automatically.
Where do I report a bug?
In the Discord. Include your plugin version from /jp, your Paper version from /version, what happened, and any errors from logs/latest.log. Never post passwords, database logins or S3 keys.
